Nurse Practitioner
Maria Bruns is a board-certified Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner through the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners (AANP). She earned her Master of Science in Nursing from Northern Kentucky University and brings over 25 years of experience in healthcare to her practice.
Maria is dedicated to delivering high-quality, evidence-based mental health care for children, adolescents, and adults. She has a special passion for supporting women through pregnancy and the postpartum period, helping them navigate the unique challenges that can arise during this vulnerable time.
With extensive training and clinical expertise, Maria provides comprehensive care for a wide range of conditions, including anxiety, depression, mood disorders, ADHD, and trauma-related disorders. She takes a holistic, patient-centered approach, combining medication management with psychotherapy to create individualized treatment plans. By involving patients in the decision-making process, Maria ensures that care is collaborative, empowering, and tailored to each individual’s goals.
